耶誕節，這個麗林國小行之有年，許多小朋友引頸期盼的重頭戲，

到底是慶祝耶誕老人的生日，或是領糖果的日子呢?

透過投影片了解耶誕節的由來和意義~

When it comes to Christmas, what do you think of?

Decorating a Christmas tree?

Exchanging Christmas presents?

Waiting for Santa Claus?

Having a Christmas party?

Or kissing under mistletoe?

People do this activities to celebrate Christmas, 

but why do people around the world celebrate this holiday?

Christmas is Jesus Christ's birthday,
but  he was not born on this day.
Actually, no one knows his birthday.

He did many incredible things.
For example, he turned water into wine.

He walked on water.

He calmed a storm.

He cured many people.

He even raised the dead.

His story inspired many artists.

He did not commit any crime,
but he was crucified.

However, he was raised from the
 dead three days later.

People were scared. They thought that they saw a ghost.
Jesus showed them his wounds.

Then he was taken up  into heaven.

Since then, Jesus has influenced many people.
From Jesus, people learn how to love and forgive each other.

Therefore, let's think about the meaning of Christmas.

Christmas is about caring for and sharing with people.

Let's make this world a better place with love~
